Flyers Forward Finished In Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Flyers have lost Maksim Sushko, as the 23-year-old winger has signed a two-year contract with Dynamo Moscow of the KHL.

Sushko appeared in two games for the Flyers during the 2020-21 campaign, where he failed to get on the scoresheet. With the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this year, he scored 10 goals and added seven assists in 63 contests.

Although Sushko hasn't taken the world by storm in the AHL, it is never the best for a rebuilding team to lose a prospect. However, if the Flyers send him a qualifying offer this summer, they will still have control over his NHL rights if he chooses to return to North America later down the road. Yet, for at least now, his time as a Flyer is done.
