Flyers Sign Defenseman To Extension

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed Nick Seeler to a two-year contract extension. He will carry a $775,000 cap hit.

Seeing the Flyers give Seeler an extension isn't too surprising. The 28-year-old appeared in 43 games for the team this season, where he had one goal, two assists, and 29 penalty minutes. Overall, he ended up being a decent depth option on the blueline and should continue to be these next two seasons as well.

In 99 career games between the Wild, Blackhawks, and Flyers, Seeler has two goals, nine assists, and 93 penalty minutes.
