NHL Rumors: Golden Knights To Shop Goaltender

According to Kevin Allen, the Vegas Golden Knights could explore the possibility of trading Robin Lehner this offseason.

After trading away Marc-Andre Fleury for nothing last offseason, the Golden Knights put immense pressure on Lehner to replace the future Hockey Hall of Famer. Overall, it ended up being a hard season for the 30-year-old, as he of course dealt with injury trouble and struggled. In 44 games on the year, he sported a 23-17-2 record, 2.83 GAA, and .907 SV%.

Yet, many are questioning the possibility of there being friction between Lehner and the Golden Knights due to how management handled his shoulder injury. If that is truly the case, that would only help the goalie's chances of being moved.

Alas, time will tell what happens with Lehner, but this is a storyline to follow this summer.
