NHL Rumors: Golden Knights To Trade Goaltender

According to Jesse Granger, the Vegas Golden Knights are very likely to trade Laurent Brossoit this offseason.

The Golden Knights are heading into the 2022 offseason with virtually zero cap space. With that, they have several players with expiring contracts that they will want to bring back if possible. With Brossoit carrying a $2.325 million cap hit and being the club's backup, he's definitely a player who could be on the move. This is especially true with the emergence of Logan Thompson this season.

Either way, one of Brossoit or Robin Lehner will need to be dealt this offseason, and it will be intriguing to see which goaltender is. In 24 games this season, Brossoit had a 10-9-3 record, 2.90 GAA, and .895 SV%.
