NHL Rumors: Canadiens Forward Gaining Trade Interest

According to Frank Seravalli, the Montreal Canadiens could trade Josh Anderson if they "get a Godfather offer they cannot refuse."

Anderson was one the biggest names in the rumor mill during the trade deadline, and teams expressed interest in the power forward. However, Montreal held off on moving him, but perhaps that will change this summer. They already traded Tyler Toffoli, who had term, this season to the Calgary Flames.

In 69 games this season, Anderson had 19 goals and recorded 32 points. Overall, it was a decent year for the 6-foot-3 winger, but one has to wonder if he would thrive more with a stronger supporting cast. His immense physicality also helps his value, so don't be surprised to hear many teams express interest in him this summer. It will be interesting to see if Montreal elects to move him this time around.
