NHL Rumors: Former Canadiens Defenseman Interested In Reunion

While speaking with Jonathan Bernier of the Journal de Montreal, Brett Kulak said that "there's a chance" that he could return to the Montreal Canadiens because he loved his time with the organization.

Kulak of course was traded to the Edmonton Oilers from the Canadiens before this year's trade deadline passed. This was understandable at the time, as Montreal of course was at the bottom of the standings, and the 28-year-old is a pending UFA. However, it's now clear that Kulak could end up becoming a Canadien once again.

With Kulak being so open to the idea of returning to the Canadiens, it will be intriguing to see if the team's feelings are mutual. Time will tell what happens on that front, but don't be surprised if he's back in Montreal for the 2022-23 season.
