Blackhawks Sign Pair of Forwards

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed forwards Dylan Sikura and Luke Philp.

Sikura signs a one-year, two-way deal worth $750K. The twenty-seven year old was a prolific scorer in the AHL this past season. In 60 games played for the Colorado Eagles, Sikura scored 33 goals and 40 assists for 73 total points. In six playoff games, he scored two goals and four assists. If he can manage to translate his minor league success to the NHL, Sikura will most likely see time with the Blackhawks this season.

Forward Luke Philp signs a twin one-year, two-way deal worth $750K. The twenty-six year old played 66 games with the Stockton Heat this past season, scoring 21 goals and 23 assists for 44 total points. In 10 playoff games, Philp scored one goal and four assists.

The Blackhawks continue to add pieces as their rebuild begins.
