Flyers Top Prospect May Need Surgery

According to Anthony SanFillippo, Philadelphia Flyers prospect, Bobby Brink, injured his hip and may need surgery. At this point, no estimated recovery time has been given, but SanFillippo noted that Brink could miss the beginning of the season.

This is rough to hear, as Brink is viewed as one of the top prospects on the Flyers. The 21-year-old just put together a 57-point campaign in 41 games with the University of Denver, so there's been a good amount of hype following him. With that, he left a decent first impression with the Flyers, as he had four assists in 10 games with the club.

The Flyers are aiming to be competitive in 2022-23, so losing Brink for the start of the year would simply suck. Here's to hoping that Brink won't have to miss the start of the campaign and has a speedy recovery.
