NHL Rumors: Predators Linked To Veteran Winger

There are rumblings that the Predators could pursue Phil Kessel once he becomes a UFA this summer.

Elliotte Friedman recently noted that Nashville was in on Kessel before the deadline passed. Due to their past interest, it wouldn't be surprising to see Kessel join the Predators. Nashville already has brought in one veteran this summer in Ryan McDonagh, too.

If the Predators signed Kessel, he would be a very solid addition to their middle six. He is still a solid point producer in this league, and Nashville would benefit from adding more offense to their group.
