NHL Rumors: Wild Forward Likely Done In Minnesota

According to Elliotte Friedman, Nicolas Deslaurier's time with the Wild is likely over. GM Bill Guerin also noted that the team would have already re-signed the veteran forward if it were possible.

Deslauriers was acquired by the Wild from the Ducks before the deadline passed. Overall, he ended up being a solid addition, as he provided them with more toughness and grit. That will make Deslauriers a pretty popular UFA around the league.

In 81 games this season, Deslauriers scored eight goals and recorded 13 points. With that, he had 263 hits to go along with 113 PIM.
