Panthers Sign Forward To Extension

The Florida Panthers have signed Eetu Luostarinen to a two-year contract extension.

Luostarinen cemented himself as a full-time NHL player this season with the Panthers. In 78 games, he set new career highs with nine goals, 17 assists, and 26 points. Overall, he showed that he can be an effective bottom-six forward at the NHL level. Yet, with him still being only 23 years old, there's reason to believe that he will continue to get better as he gets more experience.

Overall, it is wise that the Panthers have decided to keep Luostarinen around. Let's see how the former second-round pick performs from here.
