As for Beauvillier, he's become a trade candidate as if New York adds Kadri, they will need to move out some money. The shifty forward makes $4.15 million against the cap and is signed through the 2023-24 season, he doesn't hold trade protection, unlike many of his teammates.

Montreal has been linked to Beauvillier for some time now as it's no secret they try to add players from the area any time some talented ones become available. Last season Beauvillier recorded 34 points in 75 games and has shown during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, he's able to elevate his game when it matters most. Keep an eye on these two teams as they've been linked for some time and a deal could finally come to fruition.
