NHL Rumors: Vancouver Canucks Linked to 2 Free Agents

The Vancouver Canucks aren't done adding talent before training camp opens. The team has made some minor moves this offseason and expectation is a couple more free agents are on the way.

According to Rick Dhaliwal, the Canucks have interest in both Evan Rodrigues and Calvin de Haan. Both are unrestricted free agents and currently sit without a contract for next season.

Rodrigues had a great season in Pittsburgh, recording 43 points in 82 games last season. He's coming off a $1 million contract and is stuck in a tricky spot, as teams haven't been willing to go long-term after his career season.

De Haan on the other hand made $4.55 million last season with the Chicago Blackhawks. The 31-year-old posted eight points in 69 games and has also been linked to the Florida Panthers, Edmonton Oilers and Detroit Red Wings.
