Arizona Coyotes Star Expected to be Ready for Season Opener

While speaking with reporters, Arizona Coyotes star forward Clayton Keller said that he will be out for the beginning of the preseason. Yet, on a more important note, he stated that he believes he will be good to go for the Coyotes' regular-season opener.

Keller suffered a season-ending leg injury in March that resulted in surgery. Ultimately, he is recovering on schedule, and that is a major win for the Coyotes.

Keller was the Coyotes' top player last season, where he scored 28 goals and recorded 65 points in 67 games. He will be aiming to put together another season like this in 2022-23, and given the fact that he is unexpected to miss any regular-season time with his current injury, he's in a prime position to do so.
