St. Louis Blues Sign Jordan Kyrou To Massive Extension

The St. Louis Blues have signed Jordan Kyrou to an eight-year, $65 million contract extension. He will have an average annual value of $8.125 million.

This contract is identical to the other that the Blues gave Robert Thomas earlier this offseason. Now, the Blues will be running with Kyrou and Thomas as a part of their core for many more years to come.

Kyrou just put together a career year for the Blues, as he scored 27 goals and recorded 75 points in 74 games. After a season like this, it is understandable as to why St. Louis wanted to keep him around for a long time, and now they have done just that.

It will be intriguing to see what Kyrou does from here after signing this contract, but if the Toronto native can continue to be a point-per-game player, this deal could become a real steal.
