Arizona Coyotes Defenseman Injured

The injury bug is continuing to hit the Arizona Coyotes, as Conor Timmins missed Monday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs due to an upper-body injury. This is after it was already announced that Nick Schmaltz is out for several weeks.

Yet, the good news regarding Timmins' injury is that it has been deemed as a day-to-day ailment. That certainly is a breath of fresh air, as the 24-year-old defenseman of course missed all but six games last season due to injuries. Thankfully this time around, the St. Catharines native should not have to miss too much time.

All Coyote fans will be watching Timmins closely this season, as he is trying to cement himself as a full-time NHL defenseman. The potential has always been there, and that's why the Coyotes brought him in from the Colorado Avalanche in last year's Darcy Kuemper trade. Let's see if he takes that next step this year once healthy.
