Boston Bruins Defenseman Injured

The injury bug will not leave the Boston Bruins alone. This time, Connor Carrick is dealing with an upper-body injury and is currently deemed as being day-to-day.

Carrick has been fighting for a spot on the Bruins' NHL roster this training camp. With Boston being without Charlie McAvoy and Matt Grzelcyk for the start of the season, there is a potential spot available for Carrick. Yet, this injury now occurring does not help his chances of this coming to fruition.

Carrick has not played in the NHL since the 2020-21 season when he was a member of the New Jersey  Devils. In 11 games that campaign, he had a goal and an assist.

Alas, here's to hoping that Carrick has a speedy recovery and can be ready to go for the start of the regular season - whether that is in the NHL or with the Providence Bruins.
