Canucks Make Roster Moves
The Vancouver Canucks have sent down Nils Hoglander to the AHL. With that, Noah Juulsen has been called back up to the NHL roster.
Hoglander's demotion comes after his recent healthy scratch. The 21-year-old winger has had a bit of a slow start in 2022-23, as he has just one assist in four contests. With the Canucks also being off to a horrible start this season, it makes sense that they are switching things up with their roster. Let's see if a trip to the AHL helps Hoglander find the offensive touch he had during his rookie season.
Juulsen, on the other hand, was recently sent down to the AHL. In one game with Vancouver this season, he has zero points and a minus-1 rating. With Vancouver continuing to blow leads before losing, it makes sense for them to bring up another defenseman to try to stop that.
