Flyers Star Forward Suffers Setback

Philadelphia Flyers forward Sean Couturier recently returned to skating, but it appears that the 29-year-old has, unfortunately, suffered a setback. While speaking with the media, head coach John Tortorella noted that Couturier is "just not ready" and has stopped skating as a result of it.

There's no sugarcoating it - this is truly horrible news for both Couturier and the team. Couturier has been trying to get back in the lineup after only appearing in 29 games last season due to injury. The Flyers certainly miss his excellent blend of offensive and elite defense, but, unfortunately, it appears that they are going to have to wait longer for him to return.

A Couturier return would have been big for the Flyers, as they are off to a very surprising 4-2-0 start and are trying to maintain this as their schedule becomes more difficult. Yet, do not expect to see Couturier return for quite some time given this latest development.
