Maple Leafs Make More Roster Moves

After placing Jake Muzzin on LTIR, the Toronto Maple Leafs have made more roster moves. Kyle Clifford, unfortunately, has been placed on injured reserve, while Filip Kral has been called back up to the NHL roster.

Clifford was recently called up to the Maple Leafs' NHL roster and played two games since. During them,  he recorded an assist. Although losing Clifford is not the best news in the world, the Maple Leafs are stacked in forward depth, so they have several potential replacements who can take over Clifford's spot on the fourth line in the meantime.

Kral, on the other hand, was called up to the Leafs last week but then immediately was sent back down to the Toronto Marlies. It was disappointing to see because Kral did not end up making his NHL debut during that time. However, given the injuries on the Toronto's blueline and this call-up, that should change shortly.
