NHL Rumors: Coyotes Forward to be Traded

The Arizona Coyotes are expected to make several trades this season. Jakob Chychrun is of course the biggest name on the block, but they also have some depth players who they are open to partparting ways with. Christian Fischer is one of them, and we should expect to see him shopped once we get closer to the deadline.

Fischer was shopped at last year's deadline, but the Coyotes ended up keeping him. The 25-year-old forward did have a down year in Arizona, however, as he had five goals and 10 points in 53 games. Yet, he is off to a pretty solid start in 2022-23, as he has a goal and an assist in five contests. If he can keep this offensive production up, there could be some interest in his services come deadline time.

Fischer has had trouble replicating the 33-point campaign in 79 games he had during the 2017-18 season, but maybe a year like that could be on the way for him. If so, expect some teams in need of some help in their bottom six to make a real push for him.
