Pittsburgh Penguins Forward Cleared for Contract

Teddy Blueger is another step closer to returning for the Pittsburgh Penguins, as he has been cleared for contact in practice.

Blueger has been recovering from an undisclosed injury that he suffered three weeks ago, but it seems that he is starting to make notable progress. This is excellent news for Pittsburgh, as Blueger is a major part of their bottom six and penalty kill. Getting back the defensive-minded forward shortly is exactly what the Penguins are hoping for.

Blueger is coming off a season that saw him score nine goals and record a career-high 28 points in 65 games. After a solid year like this, it will be intriguing to see what he can do in 2022-23. Yet, he will need to get fully healthy first, so keep an eye out for him to be activated soon.
