Arizona Coyotes Forward Out Several Weeks

Arizona Coyotes forward Nick Schmaltz will be out for the next six to eight weeks due to an upper-body injury.

Schmaltz was injured during the club's season opener against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and now he is set to miss a decent chunk of games because of it. Schmaltz is a key contributor for the Coyotes, so they naturally will miss him a lot while he is out of action.

Schmaltz is coming off a season that saw him record new career highs with 23 goals, 36 assists, and 59 points in just 63 games. Once he is healthy, the Wisconsin native will be aiming to replicate these kinds of offensive numbers with the Coyotes in 2022-23.
