Senators Make Roster Move

With Artem Zub out for the Ottawa Senators, they have decided to call up Dillion Heatherington to their NHL roster.

After not playing in the NHL since the 2018-19 season, Heatherington appeared in nine games for the Senators last season, where he had zero points and a minus-1 rating. An old-fashioned defensive defenseman at heart, Heatherington will provide the Senators with a bit more grit on their blueline and steady play. In six games this season with the Belleville Senators, he has a goal and a plus-4 rating.

Ultimately, Heatherington has developed a role as a depth defenseman in Ottawa, so it isn't surprising to see that he has landed another call-up with the NHL squad. Let's see how he performs from here.
