Washington Capitals Winger Leaves Game Injured
During Monday's contest against the Vancouver Canucks, Washington Capitals forward Connor Brown left the game injured after receiving a big hit from Noah Juulsen.
Brown noticeably was grabbing his right knee after the hit and skated off the ice without putting weight on it. That is certainly concerning to see, but at the time of this writing, an update has not been provided regarding the 28-year-old winger's status. That is something to look out for from here.
Brown was one of the notable additions that the Capitals made this offseason, but his first handful of games in DC have not gone too well. In them, he has yet to record a point and sports a minus-3 rating. Here's to hoping that this injury he suffered isn't too serious and that he will have the chance to turn his cold start around shortly.
