Buffalo Sabres Goalie Out Multiple Weeks

While speaking with reporters, Buffalo Sabres GM Kevyn Adams announced that Eric Comrie will be out for multiple weeks due to a lower-body injury.

This is brutal news for a Sabres team that is already struggling mightily. After starting the season hot, Buffalo has lost seven straight games, and now they have lost one of their top goalies.

Comrie has had mixed results when called upon this season by the Sabres, as he sports a 4-7-0 record, 3.62 GAA, and .887 SV%. Although this is far worse than the .920 SV% he had in 19 games for the Winnipeg Jets last season, Buffalo would surely rather him available than not.

Alas, here's to hoping that Comrie has a speedy recovery and can bounce back from his rough start to the year from there.
