Coyotes Rumors: Arizona Receiving Slew of Trade Offers

The Arizona Coyotes pulled off a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs this week and you can expect to see more deals on the way as the desert dogs aren't finished wheeling and dealing. The team has been rumored to have received a number of trade offers this week, all for defenseman Jakob Chychrun who made his season debut earlier this week.

Chychrun wants out and isn't afraid to admit that. At 24 years old, signed to a very reasonable cap hit of $4.6 million and with top pairing abilities, the Coyotes are standing pat on their trade demands for their top prize. Arizona wants two first-round draft picks and another piece in the deal. A steep ask but one that aligns with the trade market from previous seasons.

So far to this point, the Yotes have received a number of trade offers but unfortunately for them, nothing meeting management's demands. The Ottawa Senators have been in touch, same with the Montreal Canadiens, Detroit Red Wings, and St Louis Blues.

Expect to see Chychrun moved in the next couple of weeks as it won't take long for the trade chatter to ramp up with each passing game. Chychrun has played two games so far this season, averaging close to 22 minutes of ice time each night. He's the best defenseman available on the trade market and one team will step up to the plate and meet the Coyotes' asking price.
