NHL Rumors: Flyers Forward Emerging as Trade Candidate

The Philadelphia Flyers have officially fallen back down to Earth, as they now sport a 7-8-5 record after losing eight straight games. As a result, they will surely be sellers at the deadline, and one pending UFA who we will likely see dealt is Max Willman.

Willman could be a good trade target for a contender looking to add to their forward depth. The 27-year-old showed last season that he can be a decent fourth-line option due to his physicality and solid defensive play.

Although acquiring Willman would not be a major splash, he would be a solid addition for teams looking more options up front. It will be intriguing to see what happens with the Barnstable native, but it is clear that he is a player to pay attention to on the trade market from here.

In four games this season with the Flyers, he has zero points and a minus-2 rating.
