NHL Rumors: Predators & Blue Jackets Becoming Trade Candidates

The Nashville Predators currently sport a 9-8-2 record and are aiming to stay in the playoff race. As a way to help this come to fruition, they would be wise to add to their current center depth. One player who should be on their radar because of this is Columbus Blue Jackets center Jack Roslovic.

Roslovic has emerged as a trade candidate. Besides Columbus having a horrible season thus far, the 25-year-old has seen his placement on their depth chart drop and he even has been a healthy scratch. As a result, there have been rumblings that the Blue Jackets are willing to move on from the hometown kid for the right price.

Roslovic would provide the Predators with much-needed help in their middle six and power play. In 15 games this season, he may only have six points, but he also had 22 goals and 45 points in 81 games last season. Therefore, he is capable of producing more while at his best, so let's see if Nashville makes a push to acquire him from here.
