Jarred Tinordi of the Chicago Blackhawks and Jani Hakanpaa of the Dallas Stars are two defensemen who play the game tough and aren't afraid to drop the mitts when it comes to sticking up for teammates.

Both d-men also love to deliver some huge hits when given the chance and on Wednesday night Tinordi delivered one of the biggest blows of the season as he absolutely labelled Stars forward Ty Dellandrea.
