Nashville Predators' Top Trade Candidate This Season

The Nashville Predators have been said to be shopping a defenceman seeing as they need more help at forward and they have more than enough defence. The team is willing to move Dante Fabbro for the right price and it very well may happen.

The 24-year-old has regressed this season with much less playing time. He may have started out on the top pairing, but has since been demoted to the third pairing and is playing fewer than 17 minutes a night. He has just one goal and six points through 30 games and the young defenceman could surely use a change of scenery and a better opportunity.

The Predators need reinforcements at forward more than ever as there's only five forwards with 10 or more points. Fabbro could be a solid trade piece considering he was on track to be a good top-four defenceman with 24 points in 66 games last season. He plays a good defensive game by blocking shots and being somewhat of a physical presence.

The Predators don't just need a short-term solution at forward and Fabbro's value can provide them with the means to acquire long-term help up front.
