NHL Rumors: St Louis Blues Considering Making Big Changes

The St Louis Blues are growing frustrated with goaltender Jordan Binnington. Not only has his on-ice antics made headlines for all the wrong reasons, his on-ice production continues to be an issue.

Binnington was back in the crease for the Blues on Monday night against the New York Rangers and it was another disappointing start. He let in six goals and finished the game with a .750 save %.

Binnington has recorded a 9-11-0 record on the season to go along with a 3.42 GAA and a .889 Sv.%. St Louis sits with an 11-14-0 record, five points out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference. If the struggles continue and the Blues find themselves on the outside looking in as we creep closer to the trade deadline, expect the team to be open to trade offers for Binnington.

The 29-year-old goalie is signed through the 2026-27 season at $6 million annually and does hold a full no-trade clause. However, if the relationship is severed, expect Binnington to be open to a change of scenery. Keep an eye on the goalie market, there's a ton of netminders underperforming this season and some big moves could be made in the coming weeks.
