Carolina Hurricanes Goalie Activated Off IR

The Carolina Hurricanes are getting a boost, as Frederik Andersen has been activated off of injured reserve. As a result, the veteran Goaltender is set to return to action.

Andersen is the second notable player to return for the Hurricanes as of late, as Max Pacioretty recently made his debut for Carolina. Now, the Hurricanes are getting even healthier, as they are getting their starting netminder back in action.

Andersen has been out since early November, so his return is certainly excellent news for the Hurricanes. Although he has had a slow start to the year, we should expect to see him heat up significantly now that he is good to go. After all, he was simply fantastic for the Hurricanes just last season, so it is fair to say that he should be able to make a big impact yet again from here.

Alas, we will have to wait and see how the veteran goalie performs for the Hurricanes from here.
