NHL Rumors: Boston Bruins Linked to Canucks Defenseman

The Boston Bruins are on top of the NHL right now, as they sport a ridiculous 32-4-4 record at the time of this writing. After a start like this, it is fair to say that this is a "Stanley Cup or bust" season for them, so they are expected to be busy at the deadline. One player who is on their radar is Vancouver Canucks defenseman Luke Schenn.

Schenn is one of the notable pending UFA defensemen who are expected to be dealt at the deadline. The Bruins certainly make sense as a landing spot, as their right side could use a bit of a boost. Schenn would provide them with just that, as he is a very effective defensive defenseman who also plays a very physical game. These elements of his game would make him a potential upgrade over Connor Clifton on the bottom pairing.

Schenn is a player that several teams will pursue at the deadline, so Boston is going to have some competition to go against to bring him in. Let's see if they are the lucky club to end up landing him romfrom here.
