NHL Rumors: Jakob Chychrun to LA Kings Heating Up

Since last season, Arizona Coyotes defenseman Jakob Chychrun has been linked to the Los Angeles Kings. It certainly makes sense, as the Kings could use a real boost on the left side of their defensive group, and Chychrun would provide them with just that. Now, more fuel is being added to that fire, as NHL insider Pierre LeBrun said that Chychrun is continuing to make "so much sense" for the Kings.

Although there have been so many teams expressing interest in Chychrun, no club has been talked about more than the Kings. They have all the assets in the world to work with to acquire him, and he may be the best fit for his services. As a result, one could argue that they are the legitimate frontrunners to bring him in.

As we get closer to the deadline, we should expect this long-term Chychrun saga to end. Do not be surprised to see the Kings end up being the team that successfully acquires him.
