NHL Rumors: Montreal Canadiens Linked to Canucks Winger

The Montreal Canadiens are expected to be notable sellers at the trade deadline, as they are near the bottom of the NHL standings. Yet, it also seems that they are not against the prospect of improving their roster for the future, as the Fourth Period has reported that they are one of the teams currently linked to Vancouver Canucks winger Brock Boeser.

Boeser has been made available by the Canucks, as both the player and the team are looking for a fresh start. This season has been a bit of a rough one for the winger, as his scoring has gone down, and he even has been a healthy scratch because of this. Yet, all hockey fans know that he is capable of being a 30-goal scorer while playing at his best, so it makes sense that a team like Montreal is open to the idea of taking a chance on him.

Boeser has multiple years left on his contract, so he would be more than a rental for the Canadians. As a result, there definitely could be a match here, but we will have to wait and see if Montreal and Vancouver end up striking a deal centering around the winger from here.
