NHL Rumors: Philadelphia Flyers Listening to Offers for Forward

The Philadelphia Flyers have been getting a ton of buzz in the rumor mill, and it ultimately makes sense. After all, they are among the worst teams in the NHL, and players like Kevin Hayes, James van Riemsdyk, Travis Konecny, and Justin Braun are reportedly trade candidates. Yet, another name has entered the rumor mill, as the Flyers are also reportedly willing to listen to offers regarding Scott Laughton.

Laughton is once again having a solid year for the Flyers, as he has nine goals to go along with 20 points in 37 games. There's no question that a playoff team would love to have his mix of secondary scoring, solid defensive play, and physicality, so a market should certainly form for his services as we get closer to the deadline. However, it is also clear that the Flyers will want a good return for their former first-round pick.

Alas, it will be intriguing to see if the Flyers will in fact trade Laughton before the deadline. However, when noting that they are listening to offers for him, it certainly is possible that he does.
