Arizona Coyotes Rumors: Gostisbehere Linked to Division Rival

The Arizona Coyotes are ready to be major sellers, and one of their top trading pieces because of this is Shayne Gostisbehere. The offensive defenseman has been drawing interest around the league, and according to The Fourth Period, a new team has entered the picture – the Minnesota Wild.

The Wild are looking to improve their roster for the final stretch of the season, as their playoff spot is certainly not guaranteed. With that, they have over $16 million of deadline cap space to work with, so they are in a position to be aggressive at the deadline. Thus, bringing in a high-impact defenseman like Gostisbehere would be a breeze for them financially.

Gostisbehere would provide the Wild with a much-needed puck-moving defenseman. On a bad Coyotes team, Gostisbehere is thriving, as he has nine goals to go along with 29 points in 48 games. The Wild could use some of that production from the point, so let's see if he ends up heading to Minnesota by March 3 from here.
