Florida Panthers Rumors: Forward Being Shopped

The Florida Panthers have had an underwhelming season, so there is a chance that we see them make changes to their group at the deadline. As a result, Colin White is one Panther who is starting to blossom into a trade candidate.

In a recent piece for Daily Faceoff, Frank Seravalli reported that "White's name has popped up in trade conversations in recent days." He also noted that the primary reason for this is the Panthers' limited cap space. As a result of this, it seems possible that White could be on the move before the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline passes from here.

White has had a quiet year with the Panthers, as he has just seven goals and seven assists in 46 games played. However, there could still be a market out there for the 26-year-old if teams are looking for a bit of help in their bottom six. Some clubs who could enter the White sweepstakes include the New York Rangers, Carolina Hurricanes, Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota Wild, and Seattle Kraken. Alas, we will need to wait and see if he gets moved from here.
