Maple Leafs Rumors: GM Could Move Roster Player

Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas has been busy of late discussing several trades and while there's already been one blockbuster with the St Louis Blues announced, sounds like something else big could be coming in Toronto. TSN's Darren Dreger suggested the team could turn to deal someone off their roster after Dubas shipped out four draft picks in the Blues trade.

So far after two games with Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari in the lineup, it feels like the Maple Leafs will turn their attention to adding a defenseman before the March 3 trade deadline. Even with Alex Kerfoot, Pierre Engvall and David Kampf all being pending free agents, the trio all play a vital role in the Leafs bottom six.

Meanwhile, Justin Holl has become a prime target to be replaced as he's struggled throughout the past few weeks and was taken out of the lineup last week as a healthy scratch. The Maple Leafs have Connor Timmins, Timothy Liljegren and TJ Brodie who all play the right side and it's likely they are going to add another blueliner who can play either side.

Holl has become a whipping boy in Toronto and nightly does things which make Leafs Nation scratch their heads. Here's some of the fanbases reactions of late:
