NHL Rumors: Winnipeg Jets Linked to Blackhawks Forward

Max Domi is one of the most notable trade targets heading into the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline. As a result, the Chicago Blackhawks forward is already garnering interest from around the league. According to The Fourth Period, the Winnipeg Jets have now entered the sweepstakes.

The Jets are in a position to add to their roster, as they are currently one of the top teams in the Western Conference. However, it is also clear that they would benefit from adding to their forward group, as they could use a bit more secondary scoring. When looking at how well Domi has played this season, he would provide them with just that if acquired.

In 48 games this campaign, Domi has 14 goals to go along with a team-leading 35 points. Needless to say, he has been everything the Blackhawks expected and more when they inked him to a one-year deal this past offseason.

The Jets are going to have a lot of competition to successfully acquire Domi, so we will need to wait and see if it does in fact come to fruition from here.
