NHL Rumors: Winnipeg Jets Linked to Arizona Coyotes Winger

The Arizona Coyotes are a team to watch closely at the 2023 Trade Deadline, as they are set to be major sellers. Jakob Chychrun and Shayne Gostisbehere are their biggest trade assets, but pending UFA Nick Ritchie is also getting some attention. According to The Fourth Period, the Winnipeg Jets are linked to the power forward.

When observing Winnipeg's roster, it is apparent that they could use a bit more depth at left wing. Ritchie would provide them with just that, as he has shown that he can produce solid secondary scoring while playing his best hockey. With that, he also would give the Jets a bit more bite as they gear up for the postseason. Therefore, he could be a player worth taking a chance on.

Ritchie has appeared in 48 games this season with the Coyotes, where he has nine goals, 12 assists, and 34 penalty minutes. Overall, it has been another decent year for the bottom-six forward, so we will need to wait and see if he becomes a Jet before the deadline passes. On paper, there seems to a match here.
