St Louis Blues Rumors: 3 Players Who Could Be Traded Next

The St Louis Blues have made it loud and clear this season, they are sellers. First it was Vladimir Tarasenko to the New York Rangers and late Friday night it was Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari heading to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Blues are loading up draft picks and aren't done making moves before the March 3 trade deadline. Here's a few more players to watch as trade candidates:

Colton Parayko

Word is management is not exactly thrilled with Parayko's production and is scared of what his contract may look like when he's almost 40 and making $6.5 million in 2029-30. They've been listening to trade offers on all of their defensemen and Parayko is drawing the most interest at this point.

Ivan Barbashev

The 27-year-old Barbashev is a pending free agent who is almost a guarantee to be moved before the deadline. He's having a productive season with 28 points in 54 games and his $2.25 million salary can easily be fit in by a number of playoff bound teams. So far the Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins appear to have some interest along with the Carolina Hurricanes, Tampa Bay Lightning and Seattle Kraken.

Josh Leivo

One under the radar trade candidate is Blues forward Josh Leivo. The 29-year-old winger is a pending free agent who has recorded 13 points in 39 games this season. At only $750,000 against the cap, Leivo is a solid option to provide some cheap depth at the deadline. He's got one of the best shots on the Blues and is best suited in a third-line role and second power-play unit. There's going to be several teams interested in this minor trade including the Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets.
