Anaheim Ducks Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Adam Henrique

Adam Henrique was expected to be traded before the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline passed, but a lower-body injury halted that plan. Yet, with the Anaheim Ducks rebuilding, we should see the veteran forward moved this summer. Thus, let's look at three possible landing spots for him.

New York Islanders: New York Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello loves bringing former New Jersey Devils to Long Island, so perhaps Henrique could be the next who follows. After all, the Islanders could use more secondary scoring, and Henrique does have 19 goals and 33 points in 57 games on the year.

Colorado Avalanche: The Colorado Avalanche will likely be looking to add another middle-six forward to their group this offseason, and Henrique fits that description. With that, it also does not hurt that he can play all three forward positions, so he could be a potential option for the 3C role in Colorado next season.

St. Louis Blues: The St. Louis Blues have had a disappointing 2022-23 season, and they parted ways with several players at the deadline because of it. However, they want to get things back on track next year, so they could be in the market for a veteran forward like Henrique. This is especially so if the Ducks retain some of his salary.
