Nashville Predators Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Tyson Barrie

The Nashville Predators acquired Tyson Barrie along with several other assets from the Edmonton Oilers in the Mattias Ekholm trade. However, with the Predators retooling their roster and parting ways with multiple veterans, we should expect to see Barrie dealt this summer. As a result, let's look at three potential landing spots for him.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators made a major addition to their blueline when they acquired Jakob Chychrun. However, at the same time, one could argue that they should look to improve the right side of their defensive group next. Due to this, they could be in the running for Barrie, as he would give them a solid top-four offensive defenseman.

Florida Panthers: The Florida Panthers are having a year of mixed results, and a major reason for that has been their defensive group. They could use a bit more offense from the point, so they could look to bring in Barrie if the Predators are open to retaining some of his salary.

Seattle Kraken: The Seattle Kraken have had an impressive 2022-23 season, and they will be aiming to build off of it next year. With the right side of their defensive group needing a boost, it does not seem too out of the question that they would join the Barrie sweepstakes.
