Arizona Coyotes Rumors: Forward to be Shopped During Offseason

The Arizona Coyotes made multiple trades at the 2023 Trade Deadline, but none was more notable than the Jakob Chychrun blockbuster with the Ottawa Senators. This is expected to carry over to the summer, too, as Lawson Crouse is likely to be shopped.

Crouse's name started to pick up a lot of steam before the deadline, but the Coyotes ultimately decided to keep him. However, when noting that teams will have more cap space to work with over the summer, it is likely that Crouse's market is going to grow significantly. As a result, a trade seems more likely than not.

Crouse's trade value is currently at its highest, and the tanking Coyotes would be wise to take advantage of it. When noting that the power forward carries a $4.3 million cap hit until the end of the 2026-27 season, it is likely that they could land a first-round pick and notable prospect for him at least.

Nevertheless, expect teams like the Philadelphia Flyers, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Dallas Stars, and Vegas Golden Knights to only be some of the clubs that make a push for Crouse this offseason.
