LA Kings & Philadelphia Flyers Complete Trade

The Los Angeles Kings and Philadelphia Flyers have completed a trade seeing Brendan Lemieux and a fifth-round pick heading to the Flyers, and Zack MacEwen landing with the Kings.

The 26-year-old Lemieux is a pending free agent who is making $1.3 million against the cap. He's appeared in 27 games this season with the Kings, chipping in with three assists. The pesky forward loves to throw his weight around and mix it up in the dirty areas of the ice. He'll look to make an impression on the Flyers down the stretch to land a contract for next season.

MacEwen is a 26-year-old forward who is a pending restricted free agent. He'll join the Kings in a checking role and look to help them with their Stanley Cup Playoff push. MacEwen has appeared in 46 games this season, recording nine points.
