St. Louis Blues Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Offseason

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2023 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest piece for the series, we will be focusing on the St. Louis Blues.

Alex Killorn: The Blues would be wise to add another top-six winger this offseason, as they moved Vladimir Tarasenko before this season's deadline passed. Thus, we should expect them to make a push for veteran winger Alex Killorn. The longtime Tampa Bay Lightning forward is having another excellent season, as he has 56 points in 75 games.

J.T. Compher: The Blues will surely be looking to add a center this offseason after trading Ryan O'Reilly. Due to this, one player who could make sense for them is J.T. Compher. The 28-year-old is quietly having a strong season with the Colorado Avalanche, as he has 16 goals and 48 points in 73 games played. With numbers like these, he could fit nicely in their top six.

Scott Mayfield: The Blues are likely to add a right-shot defenseman to their roster this offseason, and Scott Mayfield stands out as a prime free-agent target for them because of it. The St. Louis native would fit perfectly on their bottom pairing due to his defensive reliability and notable physicality.
