Toronto Maple Leafs Await Injury News

The Toronto Maple Leafs had a tough night against the Vancouver Canucks losing the game in the return of goaltender Matt Murray. Turns out one player in and one may be out for a bit.

Leafs forward Ryan O'Reilly took an Auston Matthews shot in the hand late in the second period and was unable to return to the lineup. Needless to say, this didn't look good:

So far in eight games with the Maple Leafs, O'Reilly has chipped in with three goals and two assists. Best case scenario it's something that takes O'Reilly out of the lineup for 3-4 weeks.

The Maple Leafs have 19 games left in their schedule which takes them to the middle of April. Hopefully O'Reilly only misses a few weeks and gets his legs back with a couple of games before the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
