Vegas Golden Knights Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Candidates

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' Offseason Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players from each team who could be moved during the summer.

In this episode, we will be focusing on the Vegas Golden Knights.

Robin Lehner: Robin Lehner has missed the entirety of this season due to hip surgery, but Vegas has done quite well without him. This is because Logan Thompson and Adin Hill have emerged as a solid one-two punch, while Jonathan Quick has done well since his arrival. As a result, it would not be surprising in the slightest if the Golden Knights shop Lehner this offseason. Yet, the real question is whether or not another club would be willing to take a chance on him due to his injury trouble.

Alec Martinez: The Golden Knights' blueline has become a bit crowded, and they could look to move Alec Martinez and his $5.25 million cap hit until the end of next season because of it. The veteran is still a solid defenseman, so a market should form for him if he is made available.

Brett Howden: Brett Howden is a pending restricted free agent who the Golden Knights could look to move for a late-round draft pick this offseason. After posting a 20-point campaign in 47 games last season for Vegas, he has just nine points in 42 games this season.
